Extended Day, Enrichment Program and Summer Adventures

Extended Day complements, rather than duplicates, the school day by giving students the opportunity to explore and build on the their individual interests and skills. Afternoon activities include, outdoor games, arts & crafts, indoor games, and a designated homework room. There is a separate space for Middle School students to be able to work on computers, complete their homework, or hang out with friends. Young Cougars Club is a structured literature-based program designed for 4’s, TK, and Kindergarten students. This program includes a three room rotation (Story/Activity; Group Games; Art Activity) and age-appropriate curriculum.

Enrichment Classes are open to ALL CCS students and WEE school children (4’s & TK). Students may participate in the Enrichment Program without being registered in the Extended Day program. A wide variety of classes is offered during the school year that go beyond the scope of the classroom experience. Classes are taught by specialized instructors who are trained in their fields. Music Enrichment lessons are offered throughout the school year as well. Music students are encouraged to use their talents and gifts in music to glorify God.  Families register separately for the Enrichment Program.

Summer Adventures Camp is offered at CCS through the Extended Day & Enrichment Program. These enrichment and sports camps include Cooking, Broadway Bound, STEM, Karate, Rock Band, Volleyball, Basketball, Wildlife Wonders, All-Sports and much more! There are Extended Day options as well that include field trips, ministry projects, and other fun activities during the afternoon hours. Summer Adventures Camp is open to rising Kindergarten through Middle School students.
